Vegan Ice Cream

This simple-to-make no churn vegan ice cream recipe will satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth, but you will need to plan ahead and begin the process a couple of days before it is finished.

Soaking and making the cashew cream can be condensed to one day, but I believe the final ice cream will be much smoother if you make the cream one day in advance (or more if you choose, cashew cream freezes or remains good in the refrigerator for 3-4 days).

I generally flavor my ice cream with my own fruit paste concoctions. My favorite combines date paste with bananas

I generally flavor my ice cream with my own fruit paste concoctions. My favorite combines date paste with bananas to create a wonderfully satisfying date and banana ice cream – perfect with a few bits of toasted hazelnuts.

The recipe is my base recipe, so feel free to experiment a bit with berry purees, cocoa, fruit pastes or anything else you would like to include to make the ice cream of your dreams.
