Mild Curry Powder

There is simply no comparison between home-made curry powder and anything you can purchase at a grocery store. The intense combination of flavors will bring to life anything you season with this powder…and it is very simple to make. This basic medium-hot curry powder will deliver more flavor than any store-bought curry powder.  It will keep about one month in a tightly sealed container. The flavors begin to fade after one month, but it will still deliver quite a lot of punch.  I like to use it in soups, curries, rice dishes and to season vegetables. Yield: Makes about 1/2 cup
