Pizza Dough

I love pizza…just like millions and millions of others. I also like plant-based foods, which means I always order my pizza without cheese – a common order in Italy! So, what’s the issue? Well, as it turns out, many pizzerias outside of Italy make their dough with milk…and I am betting most people simply don’t know this and don’t think to ask about it!

Here’s my remedy – I make my own dough and pizza, which is simple and quite fun. My dough can be used to make a thin crust, or a deep-crust pizza for those who prefer something more bread-like. The one thing you will need to do is plan! Pizza dough always works best and tastes best when it is made with little yeast and cold-fermented overnight in the refrigerator.

So, there you go…now there is no excuse for not planning that home pizza party!
